Our dedicated team endeavour to ensure that the referred patient and the referring dentist are happy with the quality of our clinical expertise.
Only treatment previously agreed will be carried out and an estimate of fees is always provided to the patient beforehand. If we feel other treatments are necessary, this will always be discussed with you in advance.
Following initial consultation, patients are always given a written treatment plan, a copy of which is also sent to you. In the rare event where complications arise, we will provide patients with required timely remedial care.
We want a successful referral to Circus House Dental & Implant Centre to enhance your patient’s trust in you as their dentist. We will ensure your patient is grateful to you for referring them to us for treatment.
Please see our referral charter, outlining our clinical responsibilities to you and your patients.
We hope this website has allowed you to make an informed decision as to whether our referral service is suitable. However, if you'd like to know anything else please do not hesitate to get in touch today.
If you would like to make a CBCT referral, please complete the secure online referral form at the bottom of this page.
Referring for a CBCT Scan
Expect your patient to be with us for 30 minutes or so. They will be asked to remove any metal-containing jewellery or prostheses which may affect the imaging. Ideally, when planning for dental implant surgery, a stent should be provided. Please always ensure that the stent has been tried in the mouth prior to the scan appointment.
Reporting
Reporting by a Specialist Maxillofacial, ENT and/or Dental Radiologist is available upon request. We are also very happy to send the scan directly to your preferred Radiologist.
Payment
Payment will be taken prior to the scan appointment day for most examinations unless a referrer account arrangement exists.
All imaging service fees must be paid before the patient appointment is booked.
Circus House Dental & Implant Centre does not routinely report upon scans and radiographs. To comply with the IRMER 2000 regulations all radiographs and scans are required to be reviewed and reported into the clinical notes by the referring practitioner or by a radiologist. Circus House Dental & Implant Centre strongly recommends that all CT and other radiographic examinations should be reported upon to rule out the possibility of coincidental pathology. Circus House Dental & Implant Centre offers a reporting service by a Consultant Radiologist.
